Perk-A-Lawn Gardens was established in 1979. Perk-A-Lawn provides this area with unique and innovative landscape service using only the highest quality workmanship and materials. Perk-A-Lawn Gardens also provides this area with a full line of retail garden center items in our showroom which transforms annually into the areas finest Christmas showroom we like to call our "Christmas Village".
We are continually dedicated to building a landscape design and build firm along with our garden center that will instill confidence and trust among our clientele.
Owner Information
In 1977 Michael W. Perkins and his wife Karen moved from Lebanon, IN to Vincennes, IN to enroll in the Vincennes University Horticulture Program. Today they own a growing landscape design/build firm and retail garden center business, with annual sales of over 2 million dollars.
Success didn't happen overnight. Hard work, long hours, faith in God, and a love of God's outdoor beauty has proven to be a formula for lasting achievement.
Michael and Karen continue to apply these principles to everyday landscape owner operations of their business. They are continually dedicated to growing a design/build firm and garden center that is at the cutting edge of the industry. Vincennes, University recognized Michael's accomplishments by presenting him with the Public Service Division's Outstanding Recent Alumni Award in 1985.
